check the lake level. if the water is up to the top of the grass, swim a jig. if the grass is very exposed (8-10″) then move out with a tube or beaver. on jig selection, go with white 5/16 oz. as you clear the grass, pause and let it fall to the bottom. Be ready as they hit it hard and fast. Brushpiles are best fished with texas rigged worm. colors are a tossup, but red shad and junebug are a good start.
