Good Evening — looking for input; today at ramp a person hit my trailer while it was parked. (they left a note, thankfully, definitely seen people do far worse damage and BOLT!!) It’s on driver side fender (2011 – bass cat puma) right above where license plate hangs down. About 5-7 inches long. All things being ideal, i’d like to get a new fender. Anyone ever have something like this happen, what did you do? Appreciate any and all input. Picture of it below:

Had the same thing happen with mine a few months ago. Made a claim against their insurance and thanked them for their honesty leaving me a note. Dealership ordered me a new one. Replacement only took about 2 weeks to come in. They also ordered new trim for the other side so they’d match. All in all pretty painless process. Dealership handled the claim completely.

Thanks JStew, followed your advice and called nearest local dealer and they talked me through the repair following exact same procedure, i’ll mention the trim and see what they say – great input. I appreciate the advice!

Yours has rivet on trim. New fender will probably be adhesive mounted trim. They’ll match them in trim type. They’ll also match up clearance and tail lights to ensure both sides are the same. I had a new wiring harness installed while they were doing it. I let Alan in parts know the order was coming from the dealership with my hull ID so he could get ahead of the order and lessen wait time.

Mine came out of the shop looking better than it did before the accident. Good luck!
