I am looking for my first Bass Cat boat. Im looking to spend between $12-18k and will travel for the right boat. I will be traveling from Mississippi. I prefer a Yamaha motor but could live with a Mercury. I would like it to be a 2004 or newer boat.

Your budget seems to be ok but I would recommend you indicate what “size” and HP you are looking for. You would probably be looking at an 18-19 with 150 – 200 HP. That budget might not get you a 20 footer with 250 HP. There are plenty of models available within your budget. Good luck.

There is a 2004 Pantera Classic with a 200 Evinrude on bassboatcentral.com for 16.8kIt is in Illinois.

I have a 2003 Sabre DC with a 150 Yamaha looking to sell. Just spent $2000 on 2 Garmin 93sv EchoMap Chirp units earlier this year to update electronics. Boat runs low to mid 60s. Only reason for aelling is looking to upgrade to a bigger brand new model. $12,000
