Hey guys looking for a little input. I am looking at buying an 08 Pantera Classic with a 200 Optimax. I have read the the P-IV can have an auxiliary tank and was wondering if this could be done with the classic as well. Also Im hoping a current or previous owner could tell me the jackplate and prop they achieved the best results with. Thanks

Yes you can get a 10 gallon kicker tank for them. Not sure how it is rigged aftermarket but it is an option from the factory. Also around flush is a good start point on the jackplate and you can raise it up to around 1/2″ above once you get some seat time.

200 Opti on a Classic is pretty fuel efficient. Id run it for a bit first before worrying about adding a 2nd tank. Unless you are running a very long ways wide open you very well may find you dont need a second tank. Ive run 26 Trophy Plus and 26 Fury, very good mileage with both on my 07 Classic.

On the standard tank you will have a cruise range of 150 miles easily 130 miles at WOT thats 65 miles one direction! At full throttle! Do you need more?
