The Lord kept the rain away today so we could fish on Broken Bow. Originally it was supposed to rain all day. The forcast showed signs of improving at the last minutes so we hauled the PII from east TX to OK. This was our first time to fish the lake and we had a blast. Everyone caught fish and we ended up with Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spots. This is our second trip up to Broken Bow and like last year it has been a great vacation. I am sure we will be back.

Jim, it is an easy 4 hr. drive from Milam. Just make sure your cat has a keel protector cause they have a lot more rock on the bank than T-Bend.

Looks like you all had a great time. Which Cabins did you happen to stay in, I like the view off of the deck. The Family loves going up to BB, but I rarely fish while there most pull the kids around on tubes, but when I do get to fish I usually have a few nice fish as a result.

We stayed in Peace in the Pines cabin this trip. Last year we stayed in one called Whispering Pines. Both cabines are nice, I think I like the Whispering Pines a little better but this one is a little closer to the lake. Both are 2 bedroom cabins.
