Very sad to hear that. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times over the years at local tournaments on Millwood and Patman near Texarkana.Bill was a very nice man, and an exceptional angler. Well keep his family in our prayers.

BamaCat and RazorCat, even Rick and Ron knew Bill or had met him, knew that he was a big guy physically, well over 6 foot and close to 350lbs at times. His last weight was 214lbs. Complications and cancer took their toll. I fished with Bill last year in his Cougar at Wright Patman. The man could handle the river arm of WP like it was an open lake. My brother took him to a Rangers game just last month, baseball was another passion of his, having been a pitcher. He will be missed for sure. I will be headed down for the service on Wednesday as support for my brother and Bills family.
