Lost My Fishing Buddy

The good Lord decided today that he needed a fishing buddy too. My Dad was the best fishing buddy anyone could ask for. I am glad he did no suffer as the cancer finally won. Please pray for my mom as she will need strength in these trying times. My dad was a very good man and a great dad. The best lesson he taught me was; Any man can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a Dad. Gosh I miss him. Sorry about your loss. Id always thought fishing with your parent or child was at the best time you could spend together. No cell phones or TVs, just conversion between people that care about each other.

While we feel bad for your family, the Cancer did not win, God did. The old biblical aspect of pray at a birth and celebrate at a funeral is hard for us mortals. Though you have the right aspects in line. God Bless and prayers for your Family, Dad is catching 10 pounders. Thanks for sharing. Wayne,Sorry to hear about your Dad.I too lost my fishing partner a couple of years back and heading out to the lake is sometimes bitter sweet.Remember those times that you shared with him and pass them onto your kids.Know that he is in a better place.God bless you and your family in these difficult times.Ron

Im really sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Hes in a better place now…but that fact sure doesnt lessen the pain. I lost my Dad back in 1981, I still think of him often. Prayers go out to you and your family.

Prayers sent…I came close this year to the same thing. I hope that one more surgery and a lot of prayer gives me a few more years with my best friend and Father. Very sorry for your loss.ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
