Lost yet another Glo Light tail light.

Went to Sherms today to have him work on my ProXs. On the way home, I lost another new Glo Light tail light. I had lost one a month or so ago. Ordered the new one, even used some silicone to hold the light and the rubber housing into the fender. I keep losing them out of the same side of the trailer. The one on the left side is fine. I never had any issues with the clear lense LED tail lights that were on the trailer when it was new. Both times the light and the rubber housing have fallen out. I realize theres nothing anyone can suggest, other than glue! Guess I just needed to vent.

I would trade for that rig, but its long gone. (rolling eyes) There is a new Eyra SP there that I could be satisfied with!!

Ive lost a couple myself. I put some tape on the fiberglass to add a tighter fit. So far so good. The rubber covers the tape if youre careful. Good luck.

The locking lip has to totally seat on the rear of the fender and the full oval must set, not just one side. If the factory lights held and replacements did not, then the set or install is most likely the issue.

Thanks BCB. I thought that was how it was to be installed. Ive always done that. Not sure what the issue is. Ive changed lights on the other two Cats I have had, and not had any issues. Im just going to go back to my original factory lights. Not going to spend any more money on the glo lights.

Yeah, that would be my choice too, if only financially possible…Dont know if this has anything to do with your issue, but when I ordered replacement lights for my rig, I noticed that the grommets were different from the original ones. I just used the original grommet due to the fact I didnt want them to be different (lights “expired” at different times). Point being, I noticed the BCB post and your response and, youre likely to get different grommets even if you “go back” to the original lights. Just fyi….. good luck with your remedy, whatever that may be…
