Louisiana….Looking for a ride in a Sabre FTD.

If anyone has a late model Sabre FTD that they would like to show me I would appreciate it. I am in South Louisiana around Baton Rouge. Ill pay expenses for a short fishing trip or just a ride in your FTD. Id like to drive it as well if you wouldnt mind. So give me a call or text please and lets get together. Jim,Im not real close, Jackson MS, 2.5 hrs, but would be happy to take you for a ride in my 2013 FTD with 175 ProXS. 601-720-0178

cant help much locally in LA, though the factory has one with a Yamaha SHO that they will be demoing next week and might be able to get a ride for you in that one around Arkansas.

I think I have a fall-back plan on a ride in North Louisiana that I could arrange if I dont find anything around here. I know there are a few around here because I have seen them on the road before. There are 5 of them for sale around the Southern States right now and if I can get a ride I would pull the trigger on one of them. Ill keep trying and have to fill that in with the opening of the hunting season this weekend too. Too many hobbies………and thats a good thing.Everyone should believe in something. Dont remember seeing any FTD sabres around here. I have seen several sabres. mine is an 07.

When I saw an FTD recently, he turned off of Hwy. 70 just north of the Sunshine Bridge onto 3127 heading toward St. James. I also saw one in the spillway that same day. So there are some in the area. Ill just keep trying. ThanksEveryone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!

If my engine does not blow up and force me to repower I will probably end up selling the Sabre and move to an FTD Sabre. I have been looking at going bigger but for down here its a great boat for me. My Sabre/150 runs low 60s and you can drive it with 1 finger, handles the curves and shallow water and does a great job in the chop too. I think the newer ones perform even better. For me a perfect boat would be a Sabre FTD with a kicker tank and 175 hp engine. Maybe next year. I have owned several boats and brands and this one is by far the best boat I have ever owned. Hope you find a ride.
