Have some issues with the skeg on my 05 – 225 XS that I need to get cleaned up. It has a warp in the skeg that is twisted about 1/2 to 3/4 inch to the right looking at it from the rear. AND I also had a go round with a rock during our flood that knocked a chunk out of both the front and rear bottom edge, maybe one inch or so wide and two inches up (both front and rear). Question is should I just have them cut the skeg off or have the chunks filled in and the skeg straightened??. I could attach a picture if I can figure out how?Last edited by BTune on January 3rd, 2011, 10:16 pm, edited 1 time in total.
