Looking at upgrading to torquemaster on my 12 eyra 250 pro xs. Is the 20″ shaft the right one?

Front edge is roughed up on upper and skeg. Can this just be redone with a sanding disc on a grinder?

I highly recommend a flapper sanding wheel. Looks like a grinding wheel with a bunch of pieces of sand paper on it. Can be purchased most anywhere that carry grinding disk. Using a regular grinding disk usually the disk wheel on stop up with smeared aluminum. They do make a grinding disc just for aluminum.
