ok, I purchased the navionics hotmaps south for my 520c and I was hopeful for all the promises that the “increased detail, etc” offered. My problem is that I cannot get anything increased at all. I went under setting for the map data but the only option for navionics was for Lowrance. What am I doing wrong or what is the procedure for accessing the increased detail. thanks
you have to set it for your area. ,I believe it is unde rthe gps setup, you should see a block with state abbrev in it, I am at work now so I cant really visualize for you. I can help you sunday if no one has fixed you up by then.
For some reason when I check under Map data/navionics the only available option is lowarance. Is my hotmaps working ? I dont thinks so. It shows the files whne I explore the mmc though. help for this ?Is something configured wrong ?Support for this product SUCKS ! The unit is updated with the latest firmware. Someone mentions the “lock” on the card affecting whether or not the unit would register with the new maps……
I have lms 337 and lcx 27HD, 337 and 520 cant be much different, If you want i can pm my phone # and we can work on it tomorrow, it has to be something simple. hopefully someone here who is a lowrance expert can help you also!!! Pete
