Just got one and was wondering if you can mount the transducer on the jackplate like the HDS ducers? Says to mount it 1ft away from the lower unit.Really dont want to drill into the transom
BC Cougar, We have continued to suggest inside mounting. Most of the suggestions in the depth finder instructions are tailored for a broader spectrum. Try inboard mounting. This is the second question this week on this.
