Lowrance Network Question

This is a diagram of how I have my setup and it works except I have two 334 units instead of a 520 and HDS, but it might work for yours too. Use the following symbols:term- = terminatorT = “t” connector— and | = cableHDS = HDS unitLGC = LGC antenna520 = 520 unitConnect them up like the diagram belowterm- T ——— T ——– T -term | | | | | | HDS LGC 520 Dont use the internal antenna and keep your LGC-3000. This will give you networking between the two units. If you put a waypoint on one it will show up on the other.I cant comment on the red connector part.

You need the terminators on the ends of the Ts tyo create a pipeline.

If you have an LGC-3000 in the system all units connected to the system will use the LGC-3000 If I read it right, Yours should look like this……Terminator -Tee—Tee——————————————Tee——-Tee–Terminator ext cables 520 Puck hds5 power at bow at console sourcehope this helps!!Last edited by Bassman250 on May 26th, 2010, 2:05 am, edited 3 times in total.

What is terminator?

There are two sizes of terminating resistors on the ends that are shown, and your Lowrance information will tell you which one you need. The amount of Tees depends on what system you are connecting, so we are hesitant to say how many as eveyones needs are not the same, though in this instance, yes four.
