LSS-1 Mounting

For those of you that mounted your LSS-1 in the drivers side rod locker on the back wall that through bolted it through the console…..what size/length bolts did you use?

Im not sure this will help. This is my LSS Transducer mounted on a Detwiler 8″ plate. Ive had no problems to this day. I tilt the motor for clearance. The mounting bracket is made from stainless by a friend.

I used the ones provided with the LSS-1. They work beautifully. The carpet on the wall provides good padding behind the unit, helping with shock absorbsion. The screws dont come all the way through, but I can feel the tips barely when I wipe my hand over them. Just make sure you drill a pilot hole and use some silicone glue in the holes. It should help with keeping the glass from cracking.- Chaz
