We have had some time to run it and while it needs more time and more testing with various propellers, it was run by the sales staff this week. We are moving it forwards and the crowd wants to know the numbers. On the numbers side the boat has seen 78 plus, and touched over 79 empty, though that was lighter and it was not broken in yet. We dont expect the rig to touch this once production begins. This rig ran next to 78 this week with two 200+ people and 2/3 fuel, 45 pounds of weight and all 4 batteries. We dont know where the actual performance numbers when completed are going to land on. Thoughts are 72-74 loaded down and it is a big boat. We feel it could run 75 moderately loaded. The handling is one of the impressive parts for this big boat. It also seems to handle the weights we put in it well. The staff loaded the livewells and test drove it also. Which we have already done and we dont find it impact performance as much as we expected so far. Sales staff all ran the boat and Dave Davis, Ed Whaley, Ivan Williams, Kevin Short, Kyle Lowdermilk, Jason Brewer, Paul Rossi and Charlie Smith all had their hands on the steering wheel. Thomas Bates rode co-pilot and Michael Redfern stood by in witness. They can all give you an individual opinion on ride as the wind blew some this week. Its Bass Cat through and through on the handling as a few put it hard into turns, hole shot was good, the mid throttle ride is very good and the top end is throaty. It also has a hydraulic plate so its easy to tweak and they all have to play with the switch. I am pleased with the way it drives and what we have built for the size of this bruiser. The actual length of the bottom running surface is the longest running surface we have ever built. It longer without an upwards transition than the Jaguar hull in length, which means it will stretch out well. Yes, I think we have a winner and the interior stringer, floor and final interior boxes are in development now. We will be ready for production soon! Rick
