Lynx and Minn Kota raptor problem

Has anybody had problems getting minn Kota raptors to mount on the jack plate of a lynx? I went with raptors this time and they will not fit on my jack plate correctly without hitting the back of the boat with either bracket minn kota offers? Jackplate is a manual 8” installed at the factory. Just wondering if anybody else had run into this and what the solution was .

We use Power Pole brackets on Raptors.

Thanks. I was going to try and avoid power pole brackets but it looks like that’s what I’ll have to use. The raptor brackets are a lot stronger. Maybe a different raptor adapter will come out for cats in the future.

They better get with it, the rear sponces are not as aggressive as alot of other brands of boats and that bracket looks far from universal.
