Lynx Jack plate

I have Lynx with a 6 inch hydraulic jack plate. I wondering if anyone has tried an 8 inch to see if they get more lift on bow? I running the Verrado 250 pro

I have a Lynx with a Verado and 6 inch jackplate. Someone else will be along shortly to verify but if I’m not mistaken, a 8″ jackplate would void your transom warranty. I’m not sure what you would gain with a 8″ plate, mine does everything I need.

I believe the VRod and Evinrude G2 already have some built in setback, so it doesn’t take as big a jackplate as the Optimax or SHO. I have an 8 inch Atlas running a SHO on my Lynx, but I don’t believe either the G2 or Verado run that much setback on a Cat. I’d call the factory.
