Last Sunday I filled my Margay up completely for the first time. I normally only do 10 gallons or so to keep the weight down but we were planning on covering a lot of water. Anyways when the tank filled up it overflowed and spilled probably 1/4-1/2 gallon all over the place. Is this normal? Do I just need to keep an eye on my gauge and stop a little shy of full? Or was this maybe a one time thing at this particular pump? I don’t want to keep getting gas on my boat and in my carpet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The newer systems can have some spillage as you top off a tank. There is a eulage which is 5% opacity in the tanks that should be available, though often that spit back is the valves closing and the system shutting off the fuel lever. You can hear it ever so slightly when its about to pop out. If you hear it, you can prevent the spillage of the air forcing it out. BCB

Mine does it too, I just turn the ignition on and watch the guage as I get closer to full I slow down the pump and listen. If you just leave it unattended it will overflow. My old alumacraft did it as well.
