You will need to get specific advice about the height of the motor relative to the pad OR the specific mounting holes to use.There is also a sealant that must be used around the holes and on the shanks of the bolts, specific engine mounting hardware that if not used, will cause you problems, and specific torque specifications for the hardware.If the hardware he has to bolt the motor on initially is not the correct hardware, you can always swap that later but the sealing must be done right the first time or the motor will have to be removed again. The hardware requires stainless steel bolts of the proper length for your transom, brass Nyloc nuts, and special hardened washers for the motor side.
