There are better lifts of course, but this will be plenty adequate for your boat. Make sure it has a couple layers of carpet on each runner so it has a soft pad to sit on. Make sure the back end is fully supported on the boards to evenly distribute the weight.
I have two of these lifts just like this one on my pier and have putting mine and my brother’s cats on them for years with no problem. Sometimes you might have to adjust your boat position if it is leaning to one side or the other. Have to have it centered well so that it sits level.
