Took about a year, but I am finally learning how to get the Margay up to speed. I am running a Tempest Plus 25 pitch.

Just out of curiosity what kind of RPMs were you turning at WOT? Reason I ask is a 25 pitch seems like a steep wheel on a 150 HP. I have never heard of a 150 turning a 25 pitch at recommended WOT RPM. Last edited by 94eyracat on October 25th, 2015, 7:18 pm, edited 1 time in total.

At 60 the rpms were about 5200. At 62 they were 5500.

I turn a 25 Tempest on my Sabre with a Mercury XR-6 150 and regularly see 66-68 mph GPS. I run it in the winter and a 24 Fury in the hot months. Sounds like you are getting her dialed in!!!!!Elwood…..Bass Cat Proud
