Margay Trailer options

BCB what are the options for customers to choose from on the Margay trailer. Is a tandem axle even an option, brakes and wheel up grades? Thanks BCB

Here are the options that I picked up on at the Excellence in Action Dealers Meeting… Bass Cat can clarify…The trailer is a 3″ frame but can be upgraded to a 4″ frame. On number 10., There is not a pivot tongue on the 4″ frame and the 3″ frame has a Fulton Pivot Tongue and not the BCB triple pin and double wall pivot tongue.

#13 Galvanized frame? Raw or Gator Hyde coated? Will you or can you guys Gator Hyde the galvanized wheels? Does the Margay have tinned wiring?

No Gatorhyde on the galvanized 14″ wheels that are standard on the 3″ frame, and aluminum on the 4″ frame. Yes it has tinned wire.

I am a little confused. I just upgraded the trailer wheels to the mods from the galvanized, but i guess i stayed with the 3″ trailer since I did not know there was a difference. The 3″ will not have the cheap looking fulton galvanized coupler on it will it?? Also what is the major difference between the 3 and 4″.thanx,Stephen

The 4″ trailer is an option. Its runs about $1700 as an add. Its about $2800 add for tandem. Way to much trailer for the boat in my opinion. The fulton swing away toung is not the same as the one on the 4″ trailer but does the job. Call me if you need to.ThanksMike

I agree the boat doesnt need a tandem, but I tow interstate I 20 to Alabama often and to Arkansas very often. My first couple of boats had single axles and swayed at interstate speeds, mostly because of the bad roads. My 94 eyra is my first tandem and I love it. No sway at high speeds or in the mountains, it stays glued to the road. This is the only reason I want the tandem
