Max height for slidemaster

Is this the maximum a slidemaster can be adjusted up? I can’t get anymore and have wiggling the motor to break any bind there might be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You should be able to come up inch or more. You might have to go down before going up cause its in a bind. However most manual plate set ups are fairly good at inner and outer plate near flush.

It should come up more, though it should not need to come up much more.

Itll come up significantly from where it is now. About the highest Ive known people to run a BassCat is 2 1/2″ below pad, depending on the prop. A 4 blade will run higher than most 3 blade.

Knowing that it should come up higher, tonight I messed with it some more. Still can’t get it to go any higher. I lowered it down a half inch or so moved freely then came back up nice and free til I got back to this same spot and it stops. Any tips? I’ve been wiggling the motor ever turn or so. Maybe get down and look at the threads on the adjustment bolt? Also maybe lubricate the adjustment bolt after lowering it down again? Is there a transducer mounted to the plate and is there maybe a bolt all the way through that is stopping the plate from moving any further?

There is a transducer on the side, I assumed they wouldn’t have the bolts through but I will definitely check. I’d bet that’s it. ThanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nope. That’s not it. Bolts don’t go through. I removed them and tried to go up but it still won’t budge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is very odd. I can raise mine to the point of poor water pressure. Id talk to my dealer.
