nebody got ne ideas on how u could install a measuring board holder in your compartments that you could just slide it in and out of lik what the pros have? thanks
The cheap and easy way is with velcro. I took the 1 inch wide kind and put 2 strips about 2 inches each on either end of the board and matched it up with the spot in the compartment I wanted. Just wiped it down with a rag well and it has held without a problem for almost a year. I put the board in the main compartment on the “back” side of the compartment.
http://www.basscatstore.com/goldenrule.aspx Just buy the measuring board holder from BCB and mount it inside the compartment. They will sell the holder separately. I think it mounts with short screws. Is that what you are asking about. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax
On your Pops model it could be easily mounted to the side of the console and exposed. It could also be mounted along one of the vertical walls like the rod boxes or front storage.
I am not sure what boat you have, but I slide mine in against the throw cushion, in the center step, between the seats. Fits great and its right by the livewell.
This one is heavy enough it rides in the floor in front of my seat without moving around, and if i do ever need to measure a fish this is where i want it to be,,,,in the floor ! D.
I have two rod straps, one on the left and one on the right rod locker. The rod strap on the right holds my measuring board, the rod strap on the left holds my rods.
