2015 Cougar – Trim gauge on dash works correctly, but SmartCraft trim does not work. I have tried to calibrate it according to manual, but get no reading. Is something not connected to make it work? Other SmartCraft gauges work correctly.
I had the guys at the service tent look at my 2016 smartcraft sysytem at the OI. I was thinking I wasnt calabrating it right. But it took them about 5 seconds to give me the good news. Super guys and it was one of those oh yah moments I see now!!! I too have the analog trim guage and the Smartcraft system. Live and learn as they say.
My p2 dont even have the trim gauge. I added a monitor last yr. I was thinking I had read where you had to change the sender at the motor. Been meaning to change it out just a few other upgrades more 8mportant at the present time2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
The trim guage on my 11 Puma FTD doesnt show the correct position. I tried to calibrate it but something is not correct. It shows the motor to be all the way up unless it totally down. The unit cycles when initially turned on like all of the other gauges. Any thoughts?
I have the Beede Nexsyslink guage. It cycles like the other gauges at start up but does not read the correct motor trim position.i thought it was the sending unit and the dealer suggested two different ones that were much larger than the one from the factory.Any assistance would be appreciated.Thanks
