Im looking at purchasing my first bass boat (Cat). The Mercury motor still has standard warranty, and I want to purchase the Mercury extended warranty. Does anyone know how much it costs? Thanks Bassrookie
That is a dealer item, and the cost will depend on the size, year model, model and warranty on the engine. There is a quote sheet that Mercury produces for its dealerships. BCB
I have a ProXS 225 that I just talked to Mercury about. Over 1700 for one year. Dang, that is a lot of money. I could get up to four more for just a little over $4600. I really dont think that they want to sell extended warranty very bad.
Another note, on a 2009 Retail Bass Cat through a BCB Dealer, the warranty is available through the dealership. All Bass Cat 2009 models have Two (2) years of extended warranty through a Participating BCB Dealer.
