2010 Puma ftd with Mercury 250 proxs
Guardian horn quit working. It doesn’t beep when I turn the key to the on position. I also tried over-reving engine in nuetral and still no beep, however, the smart craft gauge showed System Failure and then went back to readouts when engine went back to idle so I assume the guardian system is working.
I took the horn off and plugged it to a 12 volt battery and it worked.
Got the boat in shop to hook up to the computer but I am thinking I have a short someplace, perhaps at the harness.
I see there is a bus bar with wire connections located in bilge on transom. Is the guardian system wired to this bar?
