Go to NADA (.com) and there is an engine section under boats. The value to you will be considerably more than NADA based on your engines life cycle. We do not think it is on your interest to “upgrade” as another used engine would potentially have more hours with more potential problems than your 01 model. Those were pretty good engines other than dropping some cylinders due to water seepage through the heads. Just replace head gaskets occasionally, if a compression test shows leakage, and you should be able to run that your full ownership.
