I think it’d be like comparing old 2-stroke choices of the 2.5L 200hp to the 3.0L 200hp, I don’t believe anyone was missing the old smaller motor unless their hull couldn’t handle the extra weight. I’d only choose the new V6 over the V8 if you’re greatest concern is fuel consumption or noise as the non Pro-XS models have an extra muffler.
