Thank on the forum comment, we like ot use this for our Owners Board and have for about 9 or 10 years now. It lets us address each individual question without spending half an Owners Manual telling you how to be safe in your boat so you dont sue us. Liability is the main reason for many Owners Manuals in boats. The lower bushing is probably worn in the 7 x 7 seat base, and those are replaceable. There is no collar in the upper deck.
