You have two options, and first your part will be warranty, now the options. You can contact your BCB dealership and they can handle the warranty for you through Johnson Fishing – Minn Kota. Or if you are handy dandy with a screwdriver and it is only the top cap, then either BCB or Minn Kota will send the part to you direct. We like the first option since you may have other parts broken internally. Though if your assured not, then you have the choice.

the bad thing is its the bottom part where the screw goes in the pole !

Nope, sound like warranty for a technician. Sorry for your problems. It might have been that way when it was installed and not noticed as we do not water deploy the units. And it could have hit something elsewhere. BCB

With the larger foot pedal of the MK, the factory has to use a ram mount with that graph to make room. With the smaller foot pedal of the MG, the gimbal mount of the 959 can be screwed in directly. At least that was the situation with the 2013 Cougar.

Went for a ride on saturday morning . i wanted to put some hours on the motor before my next tournement and wet a line a bit.Took a few short sprint since its my first bassboat went up to 62mh at 5200rpm still as a lot to go but it start to chine walk a bit so drop the trim down and lower rpm and so on … Then i decid to go fish a bit, put the fortrex down ,work good except the arrow on the top is not working but the motor run fine so i take a look at it and see on the plastic cap on the top of the motor all the bottom part where all the screw are in is crack on both side only the first time i used it !Do you think this a manufacture defect and will be covert by the warranty and i dont want to loose the motor for a couple of week what can be done now?I sent email and picture to my dealer but wanted maybe more option?

The Fortex will fit in the Ultrex mount, so the Fortex can be used as a spare. However, the Ultrex will not fit in the Fortrex mount.

My Fortrex is a 45 in 80 lb thrust model. It was new in March 2016
