Topic: Minn Kota Talon question about detachment

Does anyone have any insight regarding how easily the quick detach aspect of these is and how durable it will be???

There are 4 bolts on each and a plug, I be fishing Kentucky lake I will find out how they will hold up but most likely I will take them off during the ledge/off-shore fishing in the summer. I hope this helps alittle.Garytime.

Issy1- Ill take that ride w you in the river channel (not the secondary channel on the west side) from the Moors down to HWY 79 bridge Paris,TN with 15-20mph winds out of the northeast with ya in March ,id like to see myself how they hold up.

Thanks, Gary thats what I was looking for, I know they are so new we arent really sure yet how they will hold up in big water!! And FTDoo7, thats the big question!! I live in Washington and fish the Columbia River, I need them to detach because I dont think they would survive a brutal 40 mile run in 4-5 footers!!! Thanks guys!! DanJ

Actually there are two spanner nuts on each post and they unplug, or you can lay them over to that deck for clearances. They are in a slide notch on the mount and pole assembly.
