Minnkota Talon Mounting Bracket for the Detwiler JP

Heres a couple of picture of the new Talon 3SLR mounting bracket for the Detwiler Hydraulic Jackplate that sandwich between the motor and jackplate. Im still waiting for the port side so I can have them installed and will have pictures when that happens.

Perhaps mine would still be attached to my boat and not at the bottom of lake Ontario had it been this bracket.

I had two and one of mine is at the bottom of Kentucky Lake just south of the Moors but since it was a engineering flaw, they sent me a me a new one. I have been waiting of the new brackets to be developed, approved and manufacture since March and just received one of them hopefully I get the other soon. If you had the new vertical mounting hardware, you wouldnt have lost it but this new bracket is nice and will hold them really well.

That is a pretty crazy looking bracket. Seems as though they dont want to have to replace anymore talons.
