Well, it lived up to its claim. It really is a great format. Congrats to KVD, Gary Klein and Brent Ehler. Ehler really did a great job of sticking with it. Man that was great watch. Sure got tired of seeing nothing but “Nitros” but Im sure well see BCB out there.

Cant wait to see that. Also, like seeing these guys fish out of smaller boats. Not a major challenge for them. They could fish out of an inflatable and catchem as long as they have a graph/GPS and Navionics chip. I am amazed how good all these guys are (top to bottom). Also, the instant leader board format to me has a great future. Best tournament fishing drama Ive seen. Minutes and seconds to go Ehler jumps up the leader board to pass Martens for fourth and final spot to advance. That was some great PPV fishing to see. Only one guy depended on the A-Rig. He did beat down the field pretty good however KVD said he learned from days event he should have stayed on his Deep Cranking pattern to boost his weight. He could have because he was on them. He had something like 21 lbs the first quarter and was lapping the field. He did pull back some on purpose to try other patterns. He realized that was a mistake. Next round for all the qualifiers (past round one) gets even more interesting. There will be a designated target weight that has to be reached and the first four to get reach that mark will advance. Now that will be an interesting twist. Glad I got the PPV.
That instant weigh-in really did keep the pressure on. I for one didnt really think that feature alone would create the tension it did. It really is the most exciting format I have seen to date. KVD did in a way serve notice that if he gets on them again the way he did in the first period he is not going to let up. Hes gonna bury you. It appears small decisions can become critical ones real quick. At first I was pretty impressed that no one was really depending on the A-Rig but then one guy had to go and have a train wreck and stink up the pot. OH well, just my opinion
How long did the program last?

What network is that program on? I am on DirectTV and get about a 1000 channels.

Its strictly pay per view until June I believe. The $18 fee for all 5 or 6 programs is a really good deal considering its a 2hr program. Google Major League Fishing and it will take you right to it.
Gary said that when he was in the group with KVD it was just brutal getting update after update the first 15 minutes of competition as Kevin boated fish after fish.
I GUESS THAT ANSWERS MY QUESTION TO PA.. YOU THINK VAN DAM IS GETTING A LITTLEBURNED OUT???????HE SAID HELL NO…..
KVD is a machine. It will be interesting to see how long he continues. Not really sure what drives him as he has won everything there is to win in bass fishing. Maybe hell jump ship and go to the FLW though I really doubt that will happen
