I have to keep my boat at a storage shed near the lake. I went out last weekend and it rained so the carpet was wet. I didnt put the cover on to let it dry. Went out today to cover it up since I will be gone for Christmas and sure enough, thiefs! They broke the latches up front and took all my lures and plastics. They left the seats and other stuff though. When I first got the boat I always put the alarm on but havent been doing it lately. I guess I got complacent. I hate to guess how much all those lures cost…probably $1000-$1500. I guess they needed some Christmas Ornaments.Thankfully I dont keep rods or sonars in it. Im trying to count my blessings that they didnt do any damage to the boat other than the locks…maybe next week.
