hey guys why is it that bass cat like the transsome saver that goes to the trailer, and not the lock n stow style, just looking at it, i meakes sences, doesnr make the bottom of your moto and i think it wouldent put stress in the bushing on the moto the does the turning, from the trailer bouncing, just wondering the pros and cons thanks

This subject has been discussed and cussed several times before. BCB says the old style motor totor gives more support and less engine vibration than the new type. I will follow BCBs recommendation.

Hope this helps, Ive always used a full length transom saver, never saw a need to change. Basically the Lock n Stow is another spin off or gimmick….to catch fishermen. Will it work….yes. Lock n Stow and similar style are not a “Transom Saver” because they do nothing to help transfer load off of the transom while trailering..

I have used the lock N Stow for years on my previous boat and now my puma and I put over 8k miles a years on my trailer. I really like the thing!

Ive towed my Triton for 5 years (at least 2 – 1400 mile trips, 2 – 600 mile trips, and all the local stuff each year) with the same Lock-N-Stow and have zero issues. I cant see being without one myself. Its a better mouse trap IMO. I checked my bracket and it is fine.
