Actually, I prefer to use a pocket knife to trim my motor toter. This gives me something to do during the 5-week wait period from when I order my boat to when it is actually delivered. Since I cannot go fishing, I need something to pass my time. After a good 100 hours, I usually break through the top layer of aluminum. After another 1,000 hours I usually manage to saw my way through. Of course, I go through about 100 knife blades until the job is complete. All kidding aside… yes, I meant grind – not file! I was not thinking when I typed that. Leave it to these Bass Cat fellows to keep me on my toes. Here is a picture of how you trim the motor toters for the Bass Cat trailers.
