Motor transom position

Hey all what is the standard mounting location of a Mercury Optimax 250 to a manual Jack plate. Mine is currently in the second hole (on the motor) from the top? Thanks Mike

My 13 Puma FTD is mounted there as well, 250 PROXS

I believe that is the preferred mounting position for most all BCB models. At least on the BCBs I have had, they were all in that 2nd hole.
