I use the Eliminator prop nut on my MG for the composite Safari and Machete blades. It doesnt work miracles, but it does quiet them somewhat up to high-mid range speeds. I dont know if anything will quiet down an MG at high speeds. Still my TM of choice. The Eliminator is much easier to get on/off to clean your prop shaft. Plus it just looks Cool. I hang my props off my bench vise on a long spike and check them for balance (similar to balancing a lawnmower blade). Not a perfect method, but I file the nicks out of the leading edge, and just take a little off the edge with the file until it balances side to side on the spike. May not be the recommended method, but it works for me.Ive always been leery of the metal blades because I worried about bending the TM shaft if I hit a stump, as opposed to just breaking a blade off. Just my preference though.Last edited by RazorCat on September 6th, 2015, 5:21 pm, edited 1 time in total.
