How is the Motor-guide mount attached to the bow from the factory? Had a rough weekend on the CA delta with non-stop 4 rollers, got home and my MG mount was loose. Tried to tighten the philips heads on the top side, and they were just spinning and never got tight? Not sure if they are screws or machine bolts.There are what look to be rubber isolator pads, are these some sort of expansion anchor through the fiberglass? Or are they a through bolt with a nut on the inside that is spinning when I try to tighten the bolt?Any help would be appreciated. Its a 82lb tour edition on a PIV.

Under the trolling motor are two plates that attached to it–1 plate for the 2 back screws and one plate for the 2 front screws. You need to removed the plate with the trollling motor plug. Seems like there are 4 or 5 square head screws depending on the model. Cant remember if the size of the nut, but the front ones are a little challenging to get to. Would suggest having a friend to help if possible to hold the wrench or tighten the screws. Hope this helps.

dont forget to tie a string/cord onto the wrench in case you drop it

Thanks for the info. Sounds like its a machine bolt with a nut under the fiberglass which is exactly what I was hoping for. Basscat rocks!
