Mounting HDS 8 ?

Will an hds 8 fit in console of an 06 puma? Looks real close, just wondering if anyone had theirs mounted that way. Will it receive gps signal without an external gps puck. Thanks,Chris

Mine fit in my 03 FTD, and I am putting one in my BIL 04 P4 next week.

Do the 2006 cougar and puma have the same opening on the dash for graph? Thinking about putting a 8 inch Lowance also

I installed a HDS8 in the dash of my 08 Cougar and I also added a external puck just for better charting but didnt need it. It is a tight fit but just use the lay out paper they give you and take your time.
