Topic: Muffler clamps/ u bolts size?

Guys I am headed shortly to the auto parts store to get the muffler clamps I need to install my Power Pole pump on the seat post like BCB recommends. What size do I need to get?? The other question is, is a regular type of clamp fine or should I try to find stainless steel clamps?? I am headed shortly and need an answer asap. Unfortunately I live a fair distance from store so if I screw up I have a lot of waste of time etc,etc…..Thanks Guys

i used a 1.5 inch clamp with a rubber hose on the u part to help with vibration, it works great, then i mounted the relay and remote box on the same pump bracket used all nylock nuts and stainless hardware and made a spacer so nuts are on the inside hidden, took forever to get it just right looks clean though

I will post this for others information when they do a search….If you install a power pole pump on your seat post using muffler clamps all you need are standard 1 1/2 clamps! I also threaded small rubber hose over u bolt to help with vibration. Also sandwiched a rubber piece between the bracket and the seat post to help with noise/vibration. I will post pics soon
