Excited to have finally picked up my first basscat! She is a 2006 pantera classic that I picked up off a fellow board member. Couldn’t say enough nice things about what a great person he is and how easy the process was. Drove through the night from Toronto to Louisville Kentucky to pick it up. A couple more weeks and ill be making my maiden voyage.

I know you’ll love her. And you’ll never own anything but a Cat after this…lol. I’ll miss her, but I know she is in good hands and I’m sure my Eyra will console me…lol

Can’t wait to see pics and hear all about your first trip out.

One thing I forgot to mention, you need spacers that go on those bolts for the flipping deck. They fit between the flipping deck and the rod lockers. You should be able to can call Allen in Parts and get them shipped to you. They were little white spacers that went on the bolts. I don’t remember what I did with them when I took it out.

Looks like it will take a few weeks before your voyage on Lake Simcoe.

Keep an eye out for the 2nd Ontario BCB O/I.

That reminds me, I lost one too. Took me awhile to figure what was banging when flying down the lake on top of those 2 footers.

Lake Simcoe is my home water too! Where do you launch? I’m usually at Innisfil Beach Park.

My first Bass Cat also! I be in a Blueberry coloured 2020 Sabre FTD powered with 175 SHO. I ordered beginning of February.

kicknbass I dont actually ever fish lake simcoe. I have a cottage on Rice lake so my boat is typically doesn’t leave the lake unless im fishing a clubbie.
