JUST INTERESTED…WHY THE SWITCH ON ALL??????THANKS ROBIN
Nice rig….Ive drooled on that one before. Were you at Sherms last Saturday the 20th?
Tideman, because my Puma just sold recently, I didnt want to be without a boat now, so I had to take an inventory boat. I actually had my eye on this one since Sherm put it on his web site about a month or so ago. It was already rigged so I had to take it as it was. The Motorguide would have been the only easy swap, but I talked to a friend of mine who, like me, has had MK for the longest time, but switched to a MG last year, and he really likes it. Time will tell for me. My experience with MG quite a while back was not a positive one.GRR884, no, I was not at Sherms on the 20th. I was there last Tuesday.
Sweet ride! I am very much considering the Cougar over the Puma. Purely a layout issue!!!
Nice 2 car / boat family ! Hope to have my new Caracal with 4 banger by RayburnGeorge
Nice!. I had a 88 model i purchased in 89. Kept the boat till 2014. The boat was in excellent shape when i sold it.! Only 1 tiny stress crack. Yea bcb builds a great boat no doubt. I just hope to get the service out of my 13 p2. Im sure i will!! Awesome find!

I’ve always wanted a second boat to play in, keep hours off of my current rig, or something I didn’t have to worry about getting muddy, scratched, etc. I’ve searched high and low and finally found what I was looking for. This is what Basscat is all about boys. 1995 Caracal with Evinrude 150. Solid as a rock. 23 years old … carpet, floors, transom everything still solid as a rock. All gauges still work. Pretty good shape. Trailer pulls good. This little thing will get up and go and fishes like a dream. This boat is a testament to the true quality you are getting when buy one of these rigs. Shows you what kind of quality for someone who is looking to buy that last boat ever. I’m as proud of this one as any I’ve ever pulled out of Dotties Marine ( but I’m ready to see my new one with the 4 banger!). Just shows you what kind of boats have been coming out of mountain home for years. Looks good, congrats! Curious what it runs with ol Intruder?

Nice boat. I had a 90 Caracal Pro, inside was a little different. Mine had a 135 Mariner and would run a little over 60. With the 150 Intruder you should see mid 60s. Although its classified as 17, it fishes like most 19 boats Ive been in due to the width. some of the things I liked on mine was the deeper sides didnt have to worry about kicking rods overboard. Also the rod locker opened to the inside which means I was able to comfortably get rods out and put rods up while standing outside the boat. I sold mine around 2011 or 12 — still running good and still as solid as the day I took delivery from Ozark Marine. Youll enjoy it — and may find yourself fishing from it more than the bigger boat.
Wheelman,Yes, I mean 4 stroke Merc
