My PII surprises me more and more.

Here lately Ive been able to get a lot more time on the water. Mostly fishing but a lot of boat driving, mainly to get more and more comfortable with it. Last week I took it to 73mph, had my dad with me and he was in shock. Today my son, 165 lbs and I were running accross Lake Houston, into an east wind and a heavy chop at 70 flat, fully loaded, stayed dry and a very nice ride. And the skinny water performance of this boat always amazes me. If I could only figure out how to back straight into a 20ft garage.Thanks BCB for building a great boat!

I hope to get my PII home soon. Sherm has it ready but has been at a big show. The weather has been horrible and the roads to match. Hopefully a plan comes together soon. I am envious! Sounds like you are Loving it. I am sure I will Love mine as well! What engine and prop you got on your Baby?Dan

If you are driving a truck and working in a really tight area, you might consider a hitch mounted up front. Easy to mount and it is amazing how much easier it is to move the trailer around when you are looking at the garage head on. I had a very small radius to work in and it helped a great deal. A bit of a pain to disconnect and reconnect the trailer, but we got real good at it. Got the idea watching the guys at the boat yard moving rigs around with a tractor that had a ball on the front.

The Pantera II model is the most well rounded boat in the lineup, if not the market. Fuel efficient, quick, has great range, handles well, fishes good, rides dry and sits in the middle on pricing.

Even though it is three cars wide. I just have to turn the boat by hand in and out every trip. Considering getting the garage extended but thats a lot of money.
