So I have a 2011 Sabre FTD which I love, but one challenge that I have is with having some tool storage to keep my pliers, scissors, dye markers, etc. handy. Mostly Ive used one of those small suction cup baskets with two tumblers in it to keep things organized, but the only convienient place to put it is on the fiberglass that is the front back wall of the cooler, so inevitably at some point (usually in the cold) youll clip it while stepping up or down on the front deck and either a.) knock it off or b.) both knock it off and break it. When it happens in the cold (which is when it usually happens) its impossible to get the suction cups to grab again. So last season I tried one of the the Rapala stick-on tool holders. Of course when you clip that, it snaps off part of the holder, until eventually, you just have a black piece of plastic stuck to your fiberglass. Before I do my seasonal purchase of the suction cup basket, I was wondering if it would be possible to get a slightly narrower cooler step lid, and drill out a couple of holes that could be grommeted for tool holders in the decking around the cooler?Alternately, is the foam backed tool “bar” from the upper end models available aftermarket? At the moment, the basket works pretty well…until it doesnt. lol!!!! 2011 Sabre FTD w/ Mercury 150 Pro XS, Power Pole Sportsman 2s, Humminbird 898 w/ 360 and 858 at bow, 898 at ConsoleFor lots of BCB love, follow me on instagram: @professorbeard
