Guys I recently fished a tournament as coangler and the boat owner was running a HDS 8 on the bow and actually had the map and big digital number speed, depth etc up and was driving by looking at the display. Used black background. I was surprised how well it actually worked for navigating but obviously couldnt make adjustments while on plane. Anyone ever seen or ran HDS 8 or HDS 10 on bow for navigating? My interest would be if you could have LSSI for hull running and use it but cant make adjustments easily. Just thought I would ask….
