Need help deciding on electronics

I will be building my Puma shortly and Im not sure what electronics to go with. I fish mostly shallow tidal water but go to Canada twice a year fishing deep clear lakes. I am getting rid of a 2002 P3 so I havent exactly stayed up to date. I would like to get some feedback on what everyone thinks. Lowarnce? Humminbird? Models? Any one have experience with side scan? Is it worth while? I definintely want something with GPS for navigation. Thanks in advance

Your as up to date as many long term BCB owners. As for electronics, that would depend on the types of water you fish. We are not fans of all the networking and interlink systems. Though some prefer that set up. We like basic function of no linking and units that suit your needs. Standard equipment on a BCB is Humminbird, though we have and offer both so take your pick. BCB
