Old version 1 Eyra owner here, propping these old boats is a trick and I was back to the drawing board my 24 Fury was just to much prop for the heat and I dont like lugging my engine to get on plane. When I bought my 175 EFI it had an old beat up 23 pitch prop on it, I didnt think much of it, it was dinged up bent and pitted I used it as my stump prop on all the no wake lakes around here. I have on a few occasions hopped up on plane using this prop and it comes out of the hole quick but I never really ran it because of the overall condition of it. Now that summer heat is in full swing I needed a lower pitch prop, instead of buying another prop I decided to get this one rebuilt I needed better holeshot and this performed so why not right? Honestly very impressed with the rebuild the prop looks great. The guy who did the work said he thought it was an old Predator prop which is the prop BCB recommends for the version 1 Eyra. He said he wasnt posotive if it was but thats what he thought? I know theres some guys on the board that have been in the game for a long time and I thought maybe you guys could help posotively ID this prop. Im a little concerned I just got done reading pages of horror stories about the Predator 3 blade props throwing a blade and causing some serious carnage…. Apparently the blades were welded on and not a cast?
